Cringeworthy
Tell us more about your dating disaster: I met Viktor at a Russian dinner party at a friend's house, and he seems a lot like BMW man. At the party, he was attentive and the perfect gentleman. Although quiet, he was sweet, fetching me drinks, sending me signals that he was interested e.g. touching my arm, running his fingers through my hair, asking me to dance at every opportunity. Then it was time to go home, he walked me home, which was very sweet. At the end of the night, we had a romantic kiss, and he asked for my number. Throughout the week, he texted me cute messages, saying how much he liked me and blah blah blah. That weekend, he text me, asking me to dinner, saying how he missed me and wanted to see me. After arranging to meet at a restaurant, he never showed up. After calling him, and texting him (none of which he replied), I left the restaurant - stood-up and very embarassed on my own. A week later he texts me and apologises and organises the same, but again stands me up! So I thought "Forget it!" A couple of weeks later, from a friend of his, I find out he's engaged to be married this Christmas, and has been dating his girlfriend for 5 years, which he conveniently forgot to mention!
